Sustainability is a concept more and more Australians are becoming familiar with, but what does it mean to us in terms of building a new home? There are many components to what sustainability encompasses but it has been defined best by Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland when she said “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
